We are finishing midterms this week… my 8^th grade was a two-day test and will be done tomorrow with the short answer portion while the  7^th grade took theirs today.

17th Week of School

Way to go MSU beating that school from Columbus to go to the Rose Bowl.  I was in Cleveland Saturday for The Christmas Story 5K.  It ended at the house (it’s behind us in the pic below) in the movie… The leg lamp is in the window.  As you can see I was sporting my Michigan gear… I got so many dirty looks but it helped motivate me to run faster and the bitter cold helped too.

 Mid-Terms start this Wednesday with Math.  My Science mid-term is next Monday.  Mid-Terms are 10% of student’s total grade.

 There is a half-day and $1.00 Jeans Day this Friday and next.

 

 

16th Week of School

Wow! What some exciting college football last weekend!  I still can’t believe that Auburn win… & Michigan I loved it! However, the outcome could have been better.

15th Week of School

There are NO Science Experiments this week because of the short holiday week.

Wednesday (27th) is a half-day and there is NO school Thursday (28^th) or Friday (29^th) because of Thanksgiving.

Please bring in a canned good(s) tomorrow for our special Thanksgiving Mass.

My Science Mid-Term date is scheduled for Monday, December 16^th.  The 7^th graders will only be responsible for the material for Chapter 5 “Genetics”, however, the 8^th graders will be tested on Chapters 13, 14, 15 & 16; a Study Guide will be provided.

The 8^th grade Unit on Chapter 16 is next Thursday (5^th).

14th Week of School

My Pittsburgh trip was very fun and exciting (a little wet, but not too bad)… Lions did lose but it was my first time at Heinz Field and that was the coolest part.

The Encouragers are coming tomorrow afternoon.

The 6^th & 7^th grade unit tests are both Wednesday.

There is also $1.00 Jeans Day this Friday.

Thanksgiving is next week.  There is no school on Thursday (28^th) & Friday (29^th).

13th Week of School

7^th Graders are at the Seminary today.

8^th graders are doing a fossil activity today and tomorrow.  See the pic below. Bring in a small zip-lock bag in Friday to take them home.

There is a half-day this Friday, therefore experiments are on Thursday.

There is a 6^th & 7^th grade Unit Test on Chapter 4 next Wednesday (20^th).

 I will NOT be here on Monday (18^th) I am going to Pittsburgh and have tickets for Lions vs. Steelers. I will not be able to respond to any e-mails until I get back.

We will then review on Tuesday.
