First Week of School
We
are on the third day of school with Parent Orientation tomorrow and after many
schedule changes, new student additions I think we are all getting settled and
ready for the new school year. There are a couple things I need to
mention: my syllabus is on Edline under Content as well as the science
experiment presentation guidelines. I have made a few slight changes
since last year so make sure you look them over. Also, my first
Newsletters will start going out the week after Labor Day Weekend and the Study
Skills Workshops will start then too.

Science Experiment Presentations
All 7th
& 8th grade students will be required to sign up for two science
experiments within the school year (one per semester). These experiments
will also include a Lab Report where the Scientific Method must be
followed. They will normally occur every Friday however there are a few
Thursdays and one Wednesday on the yellow poster board calendar that is always visible
in the Lab. Be ready to sign-up for your dates the first week of school.
The first Lab Friday is September 6th.
