Have a GREAT SUMMER VACATION!!

I wish everyone a wonderful and safe summer.  I always look forward to my summer's as well.  My wife has lots of projects for me already.  However, on the fun-side I am going to Traverse City next weekend for a wedding so I am going to miss out on the festival.  It will be only the second time I haven't gone since working at Cabrini.  I am a bit sad... I am going to miss Mega 80's band on Sunday; if you haven't seen them I highly recommend them.  I also will be going up-north again for our annual 4th of July trip with my family.  That is always a highlight of the summer.  And I have already my summer concert schedule in place with shows at DTE, Freedom Hill, St. Andrew's, the Fillmore, & Ford Field.  I am seeing AC/DC, Judas Priest, Foo Fighters, Pop Evil, Sebastian Bach, Bullet for My Valentine, Foreigner, Motorhead, Anthrax, Hoobastank and Buckcherry all for the first time, then I have Slipknot, Corey Taylor (acoustic show), Kid Rock, Bret Michaels (maybe), and Warrant.  My students know that I love my 80's nostalgic hair bands and my metal! \m/

I look forward to seeing you all in the fall.  The first day of school is August 18th.  Look for updates on my blog closer to August. YEAH!
