Happy 4^th of July!

What great weather for the weekend… My family and I went up to our cabin in Lewiston and had some fun at Ostego Lake near Gaylord.  It is always wonderful time.  Here is a cute pic of our journey home with my backseat co-pilot; don't say R-I-D-E unless you really mean it.  Max had a blast!

Happy Birthday to Me... Believe it or not I am 41 today!  I hope everyone is having a great summer so far!

For my love of Heavy Metal & Rock Music... Over the Summer my wife and I will be going to a few concerts especially 80's rock bands... Bret Michaels, LA Guns, Great White & Days of the New (Stars & Stripes in Sterling Heights June 27th & 28th), Collective Soul & Scott Stapp (Uncle Sam Jam in Woodhaven July11th & 12th), Sponge at Allen Park Street Fair Aug.2nd, Motley Crue with Alice Cooper at DTE (Aug. 9th), Tesla, Skid Row, FireHouse & Winger at Freedom Hill (Aug.22nd).  And a few of my buddies and I are going to see Avenged Sevenfold with KoRn on July 24th for Mayhem at DTE.  My wife doesn't like the really heavy rah rah stuff.

I am even thinking about UpRoar Fest Aug.15th too!  I really like the line-up.

Last Day of School

There is No School Monday (Records Day), but there is school Tuesday June 3rd 8:00-10:00 AM where we will have our last Mass of the year.

Cabrini Festival is June 6th-8th.

Almost 5,000 views for the year for my blog!

Memorial Weekend!

I will be out-of-town until Monday; therefore I will not be able to respond to any comments or e-mails until I get back.  Please have a safe and relaxing long weekend.  The weather is going to be awesome!  See you Tuesday!

35th Week of School

8^th Grade is in Washington D.C. for the week with Ms. Surma and Mr. Bessette.

8^th Grade graduation is next Tuesday at 7:00 PM.

I have all their final exams checked, comments, and grades posted on Edline.

The 7^th grade final exam is tomorrow.  We reviewed for three days and they have a study guide.  I will be spending the rest of the week and next catching up on their grades.

I also will not be in school this Thursday.

34th Week of School

8^th Grade Final is on Chapters 1, 2, 11 & 12 and is this Monday & Tuesday.  A Study Guide went home last week.  The last day for 8^th grade is May 16^th.  

8th Graders are in Washington D.C. May 19^th-23^rd.

8^th Grade Graduation is May 19^th.

There is 6^th Grade (Chapter 3) & 7^th Grade (Chapter 11) test this Wednesday.

Element Square for 7^th Grade is due this Monday; 7^th Graders will present it to the class.  A Rubric went home last week.

7^th Grade Final is May 20^th.  A Study Guide will go home Monday or Tuesday; it will be on a little bit of everything.
